Ultra Day 3 Recap

Ultra Day 3 Recap

All good things must come to an end and boy does it sometimes hurt, but sometimes it hurts so good and day 3 of Ultra was one of those things. What a way to send UMF off in style. In no way was day 3 a letdown, but to be honest no one expected that anyways. With as much fun, excitement, and amazing beats that we have heard in the past 2 days there was no way that the third and last day would come off as mediocre.

So the night before had User, but tonight day 3 completely upped the ante with special guest performances from the likes of Justin Bieber and Diddy. Two of the biggest names in the game came to Ultra to show their support for the fans and also for the music. Wow. Lot’s of respect right there. Huge ups from them coming out and showing the love.

David Guetta is a legend and when a legend like this takes over the mainstage at Ultra, you expect a lot and did he bring it? Yes. A resounding yes. Some highlights of his performance included his new single Play Hard in addition to playing the hit single from DJ Snake, Get Low. It’s awesome to see DJs like Guetta supporting other acts and showing the love as a DJ rather than as a single producer only playing their own tracks.

What is day 3 at Ultra without some gold old trance. We love trance here at TFSF and this by far was a favorite day, because it meant that ASOT stage was back in action at UMF. A State of Trance or otherwise known as ASOT takes over one of the main stages at Ultra every year. Armin the creator and purveyor of ASOT always puts together a slamming lineup and this year was no different as he brought onboard the likes of the man, the myth, the legend, Eric Prydz and the mini Armin as we like to call him, Andrew Rayel, took over the mega structure for ASOT 700. One of the highlights included when Rayel played his hit trance single, Reload. That brought the house down with euphoric vibes and beats.

Thomas Jack, Knife party, and even a surprise appearance from Arianna grande to belt a couple of tracks during Gareth and Rob’s set. Overall it was a great day and an event better end to UMF 2015. Mark your calendars for next year as we roll out and get ready for Ultra Music Festival 2016. See you there.
